Each LESHEM’S piece is carefully inspected before delivery. Manufacturing issues are reviewed individually; normal wear, accidental damage, impact, misuse and loss of stones are not automatically covered.

Store the piece separately, avoid impact and harsh chemicals, and remove it before sport, swimming or heavy work. Professional inspection and cleaning are recommended periodically.

Emerald
Emerald requires more careful handling than diamond, ruby or sapphire because natural inclusions can make it more vulnerable to impact. Clean with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft brush. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaning unless treatment status is specifically known to be suitable.
Diamond
Avoid sharp impacts, especially around exposed edges. Clean with a lint-free cloth and mild household detergent. Steam or ultrasonic cleaning is best left to a professional who can first check that the stone and setting are secure.

Crafted in Detail

Materials, stones and craftsmanship explained clearly by the people who create the piece.

Stone

Diamond

Diamond is crystalline carbon and ranks 10 on the Mohs scale, giving it exceptional resistance to scratching. Hardness is not the same as toughness, however, so a diamond can still chip or fracture from a hard impact.
Learn more

Diamond is crystalline carbon: a single element arranged in a tightly bonded crystal structure. It ranks 10 on the Mohs scale, giving it exceptional resistance to scratching. Hardness is not the same as toughness, however; like any gemstone, diamond can chip or cleave if struck sharply in a vulnerable direction.

Stone

Emerald

Emerald is the green variety of beryl, prized for its distinctive color and characteristic natural inclusions. Fine emeralds range from vivid green to slightly bluish green.

Metal

Yellow Gold

Yellow gold combines pure gold with alloy metals to achieve the strength needed for jewelry while preserving gold's naturally warm color. The karat indicates the proportion of pure gold in the alloy.

Setting

Bezel

A bezel setting secures a gemstone with a rim of metal around all or part of its edge. It creates a clean outline while giving the stone's perimeter added protection.

Setting

Side Stones

A side-stone design places additional stones beside the center stone to add brilliance, color or visual balance while keeping the center stone as the main focal point.

Cut & shape

Oval

Oval describes an elongated rounded outline. The outline can be paired with different cutting styles, including brilliant, mixed, step-style, or cabochon, so an oval outline does not by itself mean Oval Brilliant.

Cut & shape

Round Brilliant

The standard round brilliant is a circular diamond cutting style with 57 or 58 facets. Its facet arrangement is designed to create the visual combination of brightness, fire and scintillation associated with a well-cut round diamond.
